The mandate for this project was to design a cookbook celebrating food truck–inspired recipes adapted for a gluten-free lifestyle, supported by two social media advertisements. The goal was to translate the energy, spontaneity, and visual richness of street food into a cohesive editorial object.

This edition features five recipes, along with a central spread exploring the origins of the food truck movement. The visual identity draws directly from the food truck universe, using a bold and vibrant color palette that reflects its playful, urban character. Title typography references chalkboard signage, while hand-drawn illustrations add an eclectic, handcrafted layer to the design.

The layouts embrace a controlled sense of chaos, echoing the fast-paced, informal nature of street food culture. Imagery is treated with a subtle grain effect to reinforce texture, warmth, and authenticity throughout the book.

Two social media ads were designed to extend the cookbook’s visual identity and concept. Built around the tagline “Bring the food truck home!”, the visuals blur the boundary between street food culture and the domestic kitchen.

Each ad plays with visual duality (home becomes food truck, and food truck becomes home_ capturing the energy of street food reimagined for everyday cooking.
